Strengthening India-Arab Trade and Economic Cooperation

Dr. Rashmi Saluja held a high-level trade dialogue with Dr. Waiel Awwad, General Secretary of the India & Arab Countries Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture (IACCIA), focusing on strengthening trade, investment, technology, and business cooperation between India and the 22 Arab League countries. The discussions explored opportunities across key sectors including infrastructure, healthcare, energy, manufacturing, technology, logistics, financial services, education, and entrepreneurship, while also emphasising cross-border investment, knowledge sharing, innovation-driven growth, MSME development, women-led entrepreneurship, and sustainable business practices. The dialogue also highlighted opportunities to facilitate business delegations, trade missions, joint business forums, international exhibitions, trade fairs, and conferences, creating stronger platforms for Indian and Arab businesses to connect and explore new markets. The engagement reaffirmed a shared vision of building a dynamic India-Arab business ecosystem and unlocking new opportunities for suitable economic growth, innovation, and long-term collaboration.
